I love the fall for two reasons, steelhead fishing and the MLB playoffs.  For a steelhead fishing baseball nut, there really isn’t a more satisfying few weeks than from the 1st of October through to the end of that month and of course for us fans living in southern Ontario, we have a bit more to cheer about this year than usual.

The 92 World Series.

If it all comes together and it really should, the Toronto Blue Jays have a very legitimate shot at not just making the playoffs but going deep.  In fact, I think it would be a major disappointment to not do well in the post season.

So here’s to steelhead fishing and meaningful baseball in the fall.
